Jaxon paced his room. It had taken them hours to bring him a map that looked like some kid had scribbled it. It only proved he had walked through the Tox Zone. Nothing explained why man with all their advancements still considered it toxic but could fast track the building of a new city. Something was wrong.
He glared at the city view his window provided. He slapped his hand against the glass. “I need to remember.” The click of his grandfather’s ring against the glass made him look at it. “And where did you come from?”
